NYU Stern's strongest assets [#permalink]

I am planning on applying to NYU third round, but I need help with essay 2 (What is your personal experience with the Stern community? What actions have you taken to learn more about us?) because I am from Utah with no Stern contact. What have others done in a similar situation? You don't have to have been to the school, though being in the US would push that you should visit. You can get most the information that you would need from searching on the web, contacting people and whatnot.

Interesting site! I like the layout, although the top banner is, in my opinion, an interesting choice.
I would recommend a similar course of action as above. I think reading through the thread on here dedicated to NYU, also browse to sites like vault.com that have school guides and a lot of quotes/surveys from students.
Best of luck! 3rd round is tough!

Great. Thank you 3underscore. Can you tell me a little about your experience with Stern? What did you like/dislike, and what advice and warnings would you give a prospective student? What is the best aspect of NYU? What is the worst aspect of NYU? More specifically for my situation, how is NYU's marketing? How does NYU use its strong quantitative emphasis to better its marketing program? Can you also give a bit of background info as well (emphasis, stats, etc.) ***If anyone else would care to comment, it would be appreciated. jfals http://www.jaredmalan.com
