# of questions and order? [#permalink] New post 09 Jul 2004, 16:29
Hello everyone,

I have not taken the GMAT yet and just started practicing for it tuesday. My first question is:

1 what is the breakup of questions? example: 15 SC , 14 RC etc?

2 Is there a format of when the questions will appear? I have heard people on this forum say that they were drilled with 4 CR at the end of the test.

I would take a practice exam, however, I am a bit rusty and I don't want to get my confidence down with a crappy score.

Thanks,

Dustin

You usually get, in an undetermined order, an approximately equal number of questions in CR, SC and RC. Expect a boldface question at the end of the verbal section. Browse through the last 2 pages in the forum and you will find 4-5 boldface questions to practice from.

Paul is right. There is however, a more precise info on number of questions.

15 SC
12-14 RC
12-14 CR

Pretty much the same number, but the most tested are SC's
