From 1) The farm could have 39 cows and 1 pig, 38 cows and 2 pigs....... INSUFF
From 2) The farm could have 13-40 pigs with the corresponding number of cows. INSUFF
Taking 1) and 2) together the farm can only have 13 pigs and 27 cows to satisfy both equations. (14 pigs would give 26 cows which is less than double the amount of pigs)
Answer = C
