Off-Topic: A Violinist in the Metro [#permalink]
15 Aug 2008, 23:36
Off-Topic, but some of you may appreciate it. While the article is long and somewhat disorganized (scatterbrained), I urge you to read through the entire thing if you're a fan of classical music, violins, or the study of human behavior. Some of the discussions near the end may be a good warning for us busy MBA people (or applicants) in the coming year. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/co ... 04/AR200... K (needing to listen to Chaconne again after reading this article)

Great experiment; pity that the article is fairly poorly written... But it still makes it a must read (and it's not completely OT) I sent this to my parents (who are both professional musicians), I'm curious to have their reaction.

Albeit long and convoluted, nice article. It was not very surprising that there was no crowd. Ofcourse, not many people recognized him and probably, not many people were avid classical music listeners (passerby - that day). If 50cent was in his place, I bet there might have been more crowd and more money......
