Official GMAT results. What am I to expect? Need your advice [#permalink] New post 31 Jan 2006, 02:33
Hi, Scott.

Thank you for many usefull topics evaluated on this forum. But stll, I've got a question which really bothers me... Actually I'm confused to ask it (it may look silly...).

I've taken GMAT twice. Firs my score was 550. I received my official result with 529 score.
Second try was about total score - 600. I was waitong for my official results and... And it was 529 again! The thing is that I always receive a letter containing 2 papaers. One (GMAT additional score report request form and score report examinee copy) tells that I undertook the test twice with 550 and 600 scores. And the SECOND (!) - GMAT interpreting your scores - is always the same!
total - 529
verbal - 27
math - 35

Scott, I can't get the point... Why I have absolutely identical official score while having different results just after the test???

Please help me. What should I do? How can I check my real official score?

Very strange :? Unless something changed with Pearson Vue's test, there is no way to receive an official score of 529. it has to be in multiples of 10. Did something change?

Wow! I honestly don't know what to tell you. I've never heard of such a thing before. I don't think the new Pearson Vue system should be causing that (although I may be wrong).

The only think I can suggest is to contact the GMAC: http://www.mba.com/mba/CustomerService/.

ETS lists the average scores for all test takers. You are probably looking at that number instead of your score.
