Hi guys,

I just wanted to ask if the above-mentioned book (The Official Guide to the new TOEFL iBT by McGraw Hill), which I have bought in 2007 is still up-to-date and can be used for a TOEFL preparation? Would it be enough, as I am on a C1-Advanced Level and just decided to take TOEFL instead of Cambridge Advanced English /CAE/?

If not - what would you suggest?

I think, the Toefl test format is slightly getting changed. For instance, the content of personel questions in speaking section are different than that of before. I recommend you working up-to-date
books.

I had the book, but ı will assure you that the practice tests ın the book are slightly different from the real one.
Also, the passages of the real test are longer, but ı think TOEFL is not a big deal, considering GMAT
However, I would recommend the book, the question types are up-to date, only practice tests are somewhat easier and the timing is also different from the real one.
