OG 11th edition? [#permalink] New post 04 Feb 2006, 13:50
My test is less than a month away, I have the OG 10th edition and I have been working with that but I am debating if I should consider getting the OG 11th edition at all? Like are the questions different for example, I know that the RCs are going to be slightly different this year from what it was last year. So are we looking at something completely different with the 11th edition? So is it really worth buying or will I be fine just working with the 10th edition? Also I am working with the old kaplan and PR tests, should I consider getting the new ones? Is it any different? Downloaded the new GMACPrep to get a feel of the new questions.

I wanted to ask the same quewtion so I am replying to his hopefully to get someone attention. I am thinking about retaking the GMAT after a year and have all the old materials, KAPLAN, PR and OG 10th...should I renew my stuff, is it worth it in terms of new q's etc.

Any direction will be greatly appreciated.

That depends...how old is old? If you have 2003 versions or older, I'd definitely get the latest because there will be more question bank changes. If you have 2005, I wouldn't buy the 2006 versions necessarily.

OG 11th edition is really good as I am using for my preperation. But I would only suggest it if you feel that you need more practice. If you have already done all the questions in OG 10 and think you are ready, then no need to get OG11, it will not enhance to your knowledge in any way (except what you will gain from more practice).
