OG 11th Edition [#permalink] New post 26 Sep 2006, 05:37
Hello- I'll be taking the GMAT in 2 weeks and won't have much time to prep. I'd taken a test prep course prior to starting the OG. I want to maximize the use of OG. That said, I have couple questions and would appreciate any help.

1.) I heard that OG questions get progressively harder. Should I be focusing on the final 50 or so questions in each section? (this morning I did #50 to #70 and they seem pretty easy).

2.) Is there a way to estimate your score (out of 800) based on the Diagnostic Test in the OG? Is it as simple as just adding up the number of questions correct and that'll be your raw score for each section? I only got an "excellent" in 1 section (barely, in DS). All the others were "above average."

Thanks!

In the Math sections they do get progressively harder – but in the verbal sections I’m pretty sure they are mixed together…

The best diagnostic for you would be to take the GMATPrep CAT that is available for free download at mba.com. Adding up the number of questions correct does not yield your raw score. To learn more about the exam you should poke around the boards here and read mba.com…
