Assume the length of the pipe is 12. (we have answer in fractions, we'll do it by dividing it by 12)

Marking lenghts will be at
0,3,4,6,8,9,12

Lenghts of pieces,
3-1-2-2-1-3

SO in fraction we'll have 1/12, 2/12 and 3/12
1/12, 1/6 and 1/4

Answer D
