Re: OG Manhattan---- Confused [#permalink]
OG is not enough ... u need to do a lot of hard work (assuming that you have just started and only read the OG)

Folks in this forum have done a pretty good job in listing out the books.

Ya, just doing practice problems is not going to build your foundations. If you're confused, it is most likely due to the fact that you don't understand the underlying principals that go into each question type and question area. Going through the guides should help you build your foundations. Problem is, Manhattan guides use the OG as their question bank (Plus each chapter have questions to reinforce your concepts, although they are not set up like multiple choice questions). So my advice is to purchase the brand new Manhattan GMAT guides along with the OG13 for more review and practice problems.

Studying the OG book as the only study material is a big mistake, and your score will suffer. You will not learn the underlying concepts that you need to know before you chug away at practice problems.

you know we can guess our way through (or rely on our ears) for verbal only for so long. the options in verbal get so tricky that unless you know the fundamentals its difficult ot choose one option over the other. Its best to build foundation. Will also help you to reduce your time per question.

Yes, I know verbal needs brushing up of some concepts I did that before starting OG with help of some notes provided by friends.

Thanks for all suggestion friends, I am surely gonna acquire MGMAT Series and brush through the concepts on which I feel I am weak.

And then target OG 13 (additional Probs), and OG Verbal & Quant. (If any alternate better option to consider please suggest)

I feel adding more to read or to practice will spoil my way since i need to work more on my weaknesses than anything else.

If any suggestions or add ons please do it, it will be a great help !!!
