R2 decisions were out on 25th January, so... Do you mean R3? Or were you waitlisted w/o interview in R2?

I am sorry to hear that. I didn't know Olin gives out dings before the decision notification date? That's news for me!!!

True - even I didn't expect this.

However, their mail suggests that they have had huge amount of applications which I believe is holding true for every other school (got to know during my Kelley and Rotman Interview too) and thus this process of sending out rejects much in advance

Anyhow - I wish all the best to others :)

Thanks. I think they are doing the right thing. If the school is going to reject me ultimately, I would prefer to get to know about this now rather than after a torturous wait of two months.

Even i got a ding yesterday. Very unfortunate - Olin being one of my safe schools. Hope luck favors me in the other schools. :(

Anyone who is interviewing is actually part of admission committee and hence is an adcome so as to say even if its a second year student. Having said that - for some indian applicants an indian second year student has been conducting interviews this year..
