(1) Says nothing about z : Insufficient

(2) y-x > z ... since y<x, all this says is taht z<0, we dont know if its between x & y : Insufficient

(1+2) x<0 .... y<x so y<0 .... and y-x>z which means z<0.
Say x=-3 & y=-6 ... If z=-5 then y-x>z and x<0 ... If z=-8 then y-x>z and x>0
Insufficient still


Answer is (E)
