My choice is D. Apart from Paul's explanation above, D also correctly links
'their' to 'companies'.

i am not sure if you all know, but i think answers to these SC sets have already been provided.

Yes the OA is D. I decided to post the answer as anandnk nailed the coffin after 8 long days (I believe US has swithced over to daylight savings time).

This for notifying others about the answers posted as a single set. I will still try to close all these SC threads with the OA. Hope this is OK..... well :btw I am not aiming to increase my posts on this forum as Paul had stated once :maniac .
