Order new GMAT notepad? How to do it? Problems?

During the Q section I typically write very much (not in the V section).
So the 1st time I took the GMAT I experienced the following problem (which totally knocked my out crazyly):
After about 45 mins in the Q section I had already filled th first 7 pages of my notepad (bc I always write a lot, and bc I guess I wrote very large due to the stress on the test day)
So when I saw that I'm gonna run out of "paper" I raised my hand, so that I would get new "paper" early enough (I feared the 10 pages would not be enough for me at the end of the test).
I raised my hand for like 20 secs. (I tried to think and work during that 20 secs I raised my hand; but I coudn't really concentrate bc I was already some mins bedind my time benchmarks and bc raising my hand distracted me a lot)
So I went on with the test (for like 2 mins) and waited for an GMAT guy to come and bring me some new "paper" (It probably sounds crazy - but also in these 2 mins I couldn't concentrate very well bc I was waiting for new paper to arrive)
However, nobody came.
So I remembered, when I went to my first break (btwn AWA/IR and Q), I saw that the 2 GMAT ladies weren't even sitting at their desk (and therefore couldn't even have a look at the camera to see if some test taker would raise their hand)... So I began to fear that no one from the GMAT ppl were even seeing me asking for new "paper"
As I had used even more of my paper, I again raised my hand (like for 4 mins total). Again, I was totally distracted by that...
I was running out of "paper"... and I was already lots of mins behind my benchmarks...
I went totally crazy inside my had
After 2 or 3 more mins some GMAT lady entered the room...

Well, I guess that all sounds weird and that I behaved stupid...
However, I didn't really know what else to do.
Did some of u guys have had similiar expierences with GMAT ppl?
Getting no paper although you had asked for it by raising your hand?
And - probably even more important (for me esp. bc I'll re-take the GMAT in some days):
What can one do to deal with this problem?
How did you order new paper?
(And, how did you make sure that you actually got new paper?)
(I mean, one thing that is obvious, is to ask for some new paper in break 1. before the Q section starts)
Still, I already know that I will run out of paper again after approx. 50-60 mins of the Q section...
(I don't really manage to significantly reduce the amount that I write... I simply need to do it... Tried it without much writing and was totally **** up.)
