C!!!

D: We have to compare "75 percent of the energy produced in France" with not "33 percent of the energy" but "33 percent of the energy produced in Germany".
so D is out~

Choose (D) too.Parallel comparison

D reads wierd to me. It looks like conveying a message to the effect that

of all energy, 33 % of it comes from nuclear power generated in Germany

OA: C

here is OE

A "It" has no clear referent.
B Incorrectly compares "75 percent (of the energy produced in France)" with "Germany." Also, "just over 33 percent," considering phrasing and placement, is confusing and unclear.
D Structure is awkward and confusing. Specifically, Choice D erroneously implies that "just over 33 percent of the energy" in France comes from "nuclear power in Germany."
E "It" has no clear referent, plus, the structure is awkward.
ANSWER: C Clear and concise, without the grammatical and structural problems noted in the other choices. The reference answer is D. In my opinion, the reference answer is incorrect.
