Overcome/Address academic history. GMAT-720 [#permalink]
08 Jan 2013, 11:22
I have a GMAT score of 720. However, my academic history isn't stellar. I have a 2.87 from a top 10 engineering school. I took 5 years to graduate with my Bachelors.
Later, I went on and pursued a Masters in Engineering from a local university while working full-time. I took classes on and off since I paid for the classes and my full-time job kept me super busy and I graduated in 5.5 years with a 3.7/4.0. Can my master's GPA help overcome my Bachelors? Or does it look bad that I took 5.5 years to complete my part-time Masters? Can I spin the story on my Master's as a positive stating that even with a full-time job and demanding work pressures, I completed my Master's degree?
