I'll be interviewing in NYC on Feb. 19th or 20th too. Has anyone visited the school? Impressions? I was at an information session in NYC a few months back, but I haven't been to the campus yet (it's a bit of a hike.) I plan to visit if admitted.

I visited the campus about two years ago and I believe there are some other folks who visited recently. Take a look at this thread for a bunch of photos: https://www.gmatclub.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=41364

congrats Rocky - sorry for the late wishes, somehow I had not seen this before!

Oxford was one of my original choices and school seems to be moving up the prestige ladder steadily.

Have fun!

Hey Thanks necro.
and you are right about the shool climbing up steadily. Recently I read an article in FT(I guess) where Oxford expressed its wish to compete with Harvard. Though it seems far away goal, I would like to see it happen sometimes in future.

Looks like R2 decisions are starting to roll out. I got my acceptance email this morning...which seems a bit odd. Perhaps they're burning the midnight oil getting out R2 decisions.

Oxford offers a good social entrepreneurship program (the Skoll Centre) which is the area I'm interested in.

I also got my acceptance email this morning. It was my first admit (still waiting to hear from most places) so I was very happy to receive it. Similarly, I wasn't expecting to receive an email on a Sunday morning; they must be busy.

Congrats swgotz and wshaffer.

trivikram, Oxford don't have any particular score requirements. Though I am seeing most of the people above 670. Still if you have great profile, score could be compromised.

There are still some R2 interviews going on. So it is really strange that some people have got the calls. Probably this is to be in synk with deadlines of other BSchools.

If you would like a breakdown of GMAT scores vs schools, register at admissions411.com they give a good breakdown of gmat scores vs admitted/dinged for a whole variety of schools. Having been to an Oxford open day they suggest that you shouldn't bother applying if your score is below 600.

Hello [#permalink]
Hello
I am planning to apply to Round 2 of both Oxford
and round 2 of Cambridge.
I have registered for a visit to Oxford on 7th Dec 07.
Would be great if I can meet anyone of you.
Also can anyone please advise if I should schedule an interview prior to submission of the application at Oxford ?

Rocky I would be glad if you are around this time and I can meet you.

thanks
Pats
