Stern 2012 - Calling All Applicants

Hi everyone,

I got this message too yesterday(29th Nov) from NYU.

'Thank you for applying to NYU Stern. We have received your application
and look forward to reviewing it.'

ditto, received this morning.

I finally got confirmation they received my application this morning. I was looking at last year's Stern thread and it looks like the majority of R1 interview invites went out between the 9th and 22nd of December. Most of the offers of admission were about two weeks after the interview date. Hopefully we'll start hearing back in the next week or two!

Finally, got an email this morning saying that the application is complete.

We do provide any initial notification deadlines as to when can applicants expect us to get back to them, but usually that’s the latest possible date and we try to get out our initial notifications as soon as we have them ready. We recognize the fact that this is an anxious process for all the applicants, and we do not make people wait unnecessarily.


Our admissions process is holistic as well as individualist. congrats... officially in freak-out mode.

Yup. I took two weeks off of work in September and just banged out my applications and submitted them.

That is amazing. For a second there I was going to start freaking out, but then I remember I submitted mine the day before it was due so...

But I thought it was only considered "rolling" after the application deadline?

Correct

What do you mean rolling? Stern has rounds.
