So what are all the first rounders out there doing this weekend to take their minds off of "The Decision?" I will be celebrating my birthday, albeit with an abnormal level of anxiety.

Ugly sweater parties and bourbon make for a great combo. But don't we have to wait til Wednesday? I'm dreading Monday and Tuesday at work. Focusing will be a challenge.

There's this episode of Mad Men in which Betty calls Don on a Sunday morning to yell at him for forgetting to pick up the kids, and Don was so blacked out all weekend that he thinks it's Saturday morning when she calls.

Anyways, I'll probably just read some magazines and chill-out this weekend. Thanks for asking.

Darden says that they interview candidates all the way upto the decision date. I'm not upbeat about it and realistically think chances have been written off. plus the weekend setting in, so take 2 more days away. Sigh. 21st December, dont come.

Hi,

Anyone has idea as to when Darden will declare its scholarship results.
I interviewed with Darden on 1st dec waiting for the results. I would love to know the scholarship amount as soon as possible, as it will help me decide the school I am going to attend to a great extent. Hope to hear positive results.

About the scholarship results... The financial aid director stated that they would be snail mailed on decision day. So, hopefully by the end of this week? He said they wouldn't post them online. Hope this helps.

According to last year's posts, some people got a hint that they would get money on the phone but no one found out the details. One person got full tuition and nothing was hinted on the phone so it's a crap shoot.

Haha, oh man I just reread my post and realized it sounded pretty douchey and presumptuous. Not my intent at all - my apologies. Let's try this: IF I am lucky enough to get in (and in no way am I "expecting" an admit - that would be ridiculous) then I am virtually 100% positive that my chances of getting a scholly are slim to none.

I mean c'mon Darden, please just call us today!!!! This wait is killing me...

From last year's post it seems that everyone who was admitted got a call the day before the decision deadline.. does that mean we should be hopeful of receiving a call.... TOMORROW??

So we might get calls tomorrow? Ugh, it will be confusing because tomorrow is Wharton's d-day too and we get calls. Lol. I hope to get 2 calls!!
