I don't see any reason for the adcom to view this negatively. If anything, this should help your case when you're interviewing for post-mba jobs. Most employers look to hire for the long term, and tend to avoid the "fly by night" candidates :)

Hm , so I guess sticking long term in an organization is a good thing. But is there a maximum in terms of the no. of years you should stick with a company ?

Nope, not as long as there's been growth i.e. new projects & responsibilties, over the years

Exactly U should have a reason to defend your long stay by stating how well you progressed in your organization.

Simply put, if you have 2 to 3 promotions/ rotational roles in the organisation it is an advantage.

If its the same role for 6 years, then you are toast.
