Is it OK to stick to the first company for 6-7 years?

Well , I have been working for my current organization ( my only one till now ) for almost 4 years now. However , I am having mixed feelings.I still don't know , whether to feel good about it or regret that I am one of those very few who hasn't switched companies within 4 years ?

How is this perceived by employers and adcomms ? Do they look down upon a candidate as someone who settled for security/comfort-zone and never opted to take chance or do the employers/adcomms give respect to the candidate for sticking to a path , staying loyal to the organisation and opting to grow organically within the organisation ?

I want to get some perspective from people who have stayed in their organisations for 6+ years ? It will help me decide whether I should look out for better opportunity or stick to the current growth path.I do feel ,that in another 2-3 years , I can improve significantly in role and responsibilty , but I don't want that at the cost of putting my MBA candidacy/profile at a disadvantage/risk .
