Re: GMATClub Ambassadors / Ask us about your dreamt bSchool :) [#permalink]
Why do BSchools require the GMAT? The financial system has failed miserably. It has been proven that quantitative models do not work anymore. Why are these schools still requesting GMAT exam? Why not ask for ethics, more leadership qualities, extra circular activities in applicants rather than some money making standardized exam?

I don't agree with this statement, can you elaborate? How/where has that been proven?

Look at the financial market. Quantitative models of finance is a joke. More emphasis should be place on behavior finance to predict market behavior. Hence, I think that the GMAT should not be one of the the requirements for an MBA.

Offshore and International experience [#permalink]
Hi,

I have a rather not very unusual question.

I work for the off-shore division of one of the Big-four. Just wanted to check the relevance of such work-ex, is it actually considered as solid experience as an on-shore? It's not a typical off-shore model, we are in a way a team extension, and pretty much do the same work as on-shore, including managing the client (though on calls/emails).

And second question is about the international experience - the on-shore team I regularly interact with consists of people from 7 different nationalities. So, though I have never been actually been to all these countries, except once for about a month to London for a client meeting, I have an experience of closely working with these people. Also when I say working, I mean working at off-shore. So can this be counted as an international experience ?

Would be grateful if anyone can help me with these.

Thanks.
