On behalf of the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College, we would like to invite you to join us at our information session held in Hyderabad. Hey, did everyone interview at Babson? Or are they able to do it by Skype/phone?

Hi Robhunter,

Congratulations for getting the interview call. All the best! I opted for Skype interview whereas a friend of mine opted for phone interview. So yes, Babson gives you all three interview options - on-campus, skype and phone.

submitted R2 on 1/12/2012 and received interview invite on 1/24/2012 .

You have to check your my babson webpage to see if every component of your application is received by the admission committee

Just got an email for interview invitation today!!! Yeh!! Good luck to y'all for the interview. Let's do our best :)

By the way, I clicked the link the sent me for scheduling an interview. I'm not sure if that one is a registration form. They said I could choose my interview preference on the checkbox in the form. But after I clicked it, I saw only "The Interview time you have selected is no longer available. Please select an alternative time and date." for all the dates available there. Just sent them another email to ask how to schedule the interview, and still waiting for their reply.

Yes thats the actuall registration form, you have to scroll down. I think most of the appointments are booked. There some free spots available in Feb.

By the way, I submitted my application 15 minutes before the deadline (15th Jan) , got invitation for interview today (25th Jan).

p.s. my transcript just arrived at Babson yesterday.

Not much action on the thread! I also received an interview call and I am very excited. Are there any applicants out there who interviewed in round 1 who are willing to share their experience? In particular, can we respond to interview questions with stories from our applications? Is it blind interview (just a resume)? Any help on how to prepare would be appreciated.

Had a very successful phone interview today with a member of the adcom who was also a former graduate.

Very relaxed, similar questions you can find online, no pressure, lots of positive reinforcement.

Would advise Skype over phone if possible as some of the pauses to allow her to write were a little uncomfortable, and probably would not have been if I could have seen her writing.

Very positive, lots of reinforcement - hoping they can pony up some $$$ for me to attend as there is no no-cosigner international loan program that I am aware of right now.

I submitted my application the morning of the 15th and I received an interview invite this afternoon. I was actually getting nervous because I hadn't heard anything, so I left a message this morning with Admissions to see if all my application materials had made it. Most of the options were unavailable since the date had past, but a majority of the January 31-February 3rd invites time slots are available. Good luck, everyone!
