URGENT Advice needed. Please help

Hi,

The first thing you need to do is identify your strengths and weaknesses. This would define a target split. For example, if you have been good in quant, then you may want to target 49/60 in quant and 33/60 in Verbal (to get a GMAT score of 670). Here is my take:
Step 1. Get Verbal Guide, Quant Guide and Official Guide 12 (all are official GMAT prep books). Go through Verbal and Quant guides - the theory and questions. These books will not take very long since you are free through the day.
Step 2. Go to mba.com. Take the free GMAT prep test 1 (timed and very seriously). Your score will help you figure out your strengths and weaknesses. You need to analyze the test well to know how much effort you need to put in each section and in each subsection.
Step 3. If overall, your score is low (less than 600), you need to get a complete package of study material and go through it religiously. If your score is in the middle ranges (around 650) with weaknesses in 3-4 sub sections, get relevant books for those sub sections and you should be fine. If your score is quite high with 1-2 sub sections in the dumps, get a couple of books for those, study them well and go out and party!
Step 4. Take one practice test a week to learn to perform under pressure. Also, work out all the questions of OG12. Ideally, you should score around 700 in the practice tests to ensure getting a 650 on the actual test.
5. Two weeks before your GMAT, take GMAT prep test 2. You can narrow down your weaknesses again and spend the next 10 days working on them.
6. Last 2-3 days, just try to relax your mind.
