Thats true, for those that can't afford to go into debt i sincerely wish they get at least scholarships if not the fellowship. Getting an admit and knowing you can't enroll has to be its own kind of turmoil.

About R3,...i know technically there's a chance but its not a good one. And i'd prefer to save my resources for next year hopefully. I'm wait-listed at Ross and Haas so technically still in the game, i'll try to boost my chances w/ those schools. Worst comes to worst, I think i may re-apply to those 2, plus a couple others next year.

I just really really wanted to go this year,...in no small part because of my age,..i'm 30. I'm getting long in the tooth.

Things may seem bleak now, but it will all work out for you. I too am a re-applicant and north of 30 with a wife and child and I didn't get in any school last year.... needless to say I felt pretty worthless for a little while... but God tries to protect us from ourselves sometimes. I just got accepted and $$$ from a school I did not even apply too last... I guess that is just where I'm suppose to be. Not saying you won't get in your preferred choice next year if you don't this year (prob get scooped up off the waitlist) but thing could be happening a certain way for a reason. You will still accomplish all of your goals regardless of when and which school you enter....

My goodness, there has been soooo much activity on here the past few days. I just want to say congratulations to everybody who has received acceptances and fellowships over the past few days. And to those who are still waiting, we are all rooting for you. Hang in there, there’s still a long way to go. It truly makes me feel warm inside to see the positive outcomes for so many of you who have been posting here on the forum over the past months.

To all the lurkers who came out of the shadows after decisions were released, welcome. We all hope you will all continue to contribute to the community This forum is going to provide an incredible amount of insight to the next class, let’s keep it going
and I hope to see everybody at OP!

Anyone know of any additional scholarships/grants for grad school CGSM takes care of tuition but living expenses are a different story.

I'm so happy,...God is amazing,..I was pretty much in despair after not getting the Ross admit yesterday. Amazing feeling right now.

I'm happy to report that I just received the call from UNC, I'm in with the fellowship!!! :)

Now my decision is going to be really though to make. I already have an offer from Wisconsin with full Schorlarship + living Stipend. I have a lot to consider now. I'm very lucky to have this dilemma. Good luck to those still waiting.
