Any Last Minute Questions: Suggestions on how to keep my boyfriend from hating me as studying has consumed all the time we would be spending together :(
Any Last Minute Advice: Make studying your priority, and by that I mean be willing to make any and all sacrifices necessary to make your dream score a reality.

Getting ready for a very serious 30 day rally, planning to completely cut out recreational drug/alcohol use and target for 7-8 hours of sleep every night. I refuse to take this exam more than once! Good luck to my fellow April takers, we're in the home stretch now!

Target Score: 700+
Practice Test Scores and Materials: All 8 Manhattan GMAT Guides, Kaplan GMAT, OG 12
My score started at 420 with my first practice test and my most recent was 700. (I've taken 9, and am planning on taking 3 more before test day.)
Any Last Minute Questions: How can I calm my nerves??? I am one who usually performs well under pressure, but I've noticed my confidence slipping for no particular reason, just the realization that the big day is finally within reach.
Any Last Minute Advice: As was said earlier, MAKE STUDYING YOUR PRIORITY. I've even begun studying 4+ hours a day at work (hehe.. oops. Maybe don't do that last part. ;)

There are two articles in the original post, the first is called "10 tips to improve your score with no extra studying" and the other is "GMAT anxiety". I'd recommend you read them both as they will help.

Also, you sound like you are doing great! Visualize yourself achieving your target score or better and just know that you can achieve it. Calming your nerves is what the best test takers are able to do. So lots of practice!

PS make sure to do the AWA on all practice tests. Many people find that doing the AWA actually calmes their nerves because it gets them into the groove. Good luck!

Test Date: Wednesday, April 25th

Target Score: 650+

Practice Test Scores and Materials: GMAT Prep #1 = 510. MGMAT CAT #1 = 580

Materials
1. All 8 MGMAT boks
2. OG 12 (95% done)
3. GMAT Toolkit iPhone App
4. GMAT Club!

Any Last Minute Questions: I have 3.5 weeks until the exam. What do you think of my approach?

1. Take the remaining 5 MGMAT exams. Analyze all answers (correct included)
2. Take the second GMAT Prep exam (a few days before the exam). Analyze all answers (correct included)
3. Grind out practice questions from any and every possible source.
4. Utilize the iPhone GMAT app to the max. Complete as many practice questions as possible.

Am I making a mistake by not touching my MGMAT books, or any material that teaches the concepts? My plan is to do two things: practice questions and CAT exams. That's it.

April 21st baby!

Practice tests results:

GMAT Prep 1: 670 (Q44, V35)

MGMAT 1 : 640 (Q43 , V35)

MGMAT 2 : 690 (Q47 , V37)

Aiming for 740-760 range ...

Currently using the questions on this forum for 700+ level verbal questions. Also in the process of reading MGMAT advanced Quant techniques. Planning to do a Kaplan test tomorrow. Will post the result ....

I'm having trouble with timing. I'm so inconsistent. In Quant, I can do some questions in as low as 30 secs, but the tougher ones take up to 4 mins. Same with Verbal ... some SCs are done in less than 1 min while others take 2. I average to about 2 mins per question for any RC. CR 1:30 on 700- level questions. 2:15 on 700+. In the end I always run out of time and have to guess the last 5 questions ... Jeeez

I'll be doing what bb recommended in this other post (link below). Limit myself to under 2 minutes per question regardless of whether I can solve it or not and just move on. I'll try to do one full test under timed conditions today.

Good luck to all!

I just took the powerprep test #1.

I scored the following:

Quant : 49
Verbal: 41
Overall : 730

I did it just now sitting in this public library. I was frequently distracted by people talking or passing by but it was a good exercise because I was tired as hell half way through verbal. I'm trying to build stamina for this freaking 4 hour thing! LoL

Kaplan CAT 1 tomorrow ... Will post the result!

I'm kinda puzzled now !

I haven't reviewed the questions yet but Kaplan CAT 3 (online) scores are the following:

Q : 44
V: 30
Overall : 640

How reliable are the Kaplans scores? I'll do a full review of the test after lunch.

How's everyone doing? My test date is in 5 days ... I feel like I'm ready but I feel that nervousness inside!

I know it's normal but I can't really help it .. I keep thinking about the result ..

My way of dealing with this is to constantly remind myself that I'm outcome independent and I'll try to have some fun with this exam ( as gay as it sounds ... lol )

I'm two days away.

Plan is to catch-up on Game of Thrones, go for a walk, nap, relax, shower, dress up in full business attire, and then attempt the GMAT at 4:15PM.
