I'm new to the site... this is my first post.
I rushed in to taking the GMAT to make an earlier round for application purposes and many have said the GMAT was easy; all that being said, I didn't put a great deal of time in to studying and scored 500. I'm embarrassed to even type it on an anonymous website, nonetheless, it is what it is.
3.2 GPA from a state school - Finance major
Study Abroad in Spain for a Summer (Lived overseas for 3 years during middle school)
2.5 years of work experience at large fund company (2 promotions)
Varsity soccer player Div 1
Passed Level 1 of CFA exam
GMAT: see above (I can't bring myself to type it again)
Interview went great!
Applied to Rd 1 for Vanderbilt... have no idea if they will laugh at my application or if I'm even an consideration.
I'm obviously taking the GMAT again - but Owen will notify me of admittance the day before my second GMAT - which will then help me decide on remaining schools.
What do you guys think?
