Just kiddingg.. Although I do think the school has a distinct, special quality beyond the rankings and all the stats on paper (which it still does very well in anyway).

Since you said personal preference - as in our own ranking methodology - here's my real one:
1) Tuck
2) Stanford
3) Yale
4) Darden
Can you tell I prefer smaller schools?

5) Kellogg
6) HBS
7) Wharton

And 4+ months after that, in retrospect my list is.

1 Kellogg
2 Fuqua
3 Tuck
4 Haas
5 Johnson
6 Stern
7 Ross

(Edit: took Stanford off... because, I would have never applied there...)

Ahh I am way too inexperienced to even write here
But I will take a dig and probably change it later
1. Stanford - tech and Stan go hand in hand.
2. HBS - The generalist mentality and because Salman Khan went there. Also has a great wine and cuisine "society". :P
3. Sloan - Nerd/Tech reasons.
4. Yale - Education/Tech focus and fit, one of the best brandnames in India/Asia.
5. Booth - India friendly and Flexible curriculam. I know 2-3 awesome alumni there who seem to love the place more than the top dogs.
6. Tuck - The close knit Tuck family, same alumni reason as for Booth.
7. Johnson - Again great international brandname, lovely location and a holistically great program.

After applying/interviewing, my top 7 shakes out as such:

1. Tuck
2. Kellogg
3. Johnson
4. Darden
5. Kenan-Flagler
6. Ross
7. Fuqua

Like Highwyre, I only mentioned schools I would apply to, as opposed to schools with a lofty ranking where the concept of attending would be really cool and having the school name on the diploma would make it easier to pick up shallow chicks. With the exception of Ross, I visited all the schools on my list, applied to my top 4 in Round 1, and would have applied to two of the three schools ranked 5-7 in Round 2 if I weren't admitted to Johnson.

Some might raise an eyebrow over K-F being preffered over Ross and Fuqua, but for me, I just had an awesome visit, the Veteran's club was great, and I think anyone who's been to both schools would agree that Chapel Hill > Durham. After visiting, I completely understand why Tucker Max (author of "I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell" who went to Duke Law) said: "The only good thing about Durham is that it's 20 minutes from Chapel Hill." Just an example of "It's not all about rankings."

...probably more of an explanation than anyone needed. Oh well.
