Hi friends!
Is it a good idea to apply in the 3rd round?
- Schools I want to apply HBS, Stanford, MIT, Columbia.
- I am from Peru, 31 years. I was the best student in my class during college. (We don't have GPA, but based on that, I suppose it is 4.0)
- I have another excellent academic credentials such as: I was the best student in two courses in which participated students from different universities. Also, my thesis research to graduate got the highest qualification.
- I have work experience in: 1) Economic Research in a Think Tank, 2) Banking, and 3) Government: (I designed financial programs to small business and exporters, partiicipated in foreing trade agreements negotations with other countries, designed measures to help my country during the financial crisis, etc) I think I have great experience.
- Leadership activities / Support to my comunity: I founded two organizations during college: one of the composed by students of diferent universities. / I left my job in the bank to work in the government to help my country to reduce the poverty and help small companies.
- I will take the GMAT on late October. My desired score is 730. I think I will do it well. However, I think that I won't have enough time to study for the TOEFL or the IELTS. :s That's why I would like to know, based on my profile, whether it would be a good idea to apply in the third round.
Thanks!
