Hi Ashish,
Unfortunately, a 490 is a major barrier to admission. Historically, people with exceptional qualifications have gotten in to good schools with low scores--recently,
a 490 got into Harvard!--but these are exceptions, not the rules. Even lower-tier B-schools are usually looking for scores in the 500-550 range.
Can you be a little more specific about your work experience and school background? A very high GPA from a top-tier undergraduate institution, combined with a job history illustrating a lot of responsibility and/or rapid advancement in the company, could help your admissions process quite a bit--though you'd still want to try to pull that score up.
Hope this helps, and good luck!
