Getting Into Asian B-Schools (650, High Verbal, Low Quant)

I am currently living in the United States but the main schools I am targeting are in Asia, particularly HKUST, HKU, and NUS, because I do plan on working their after Business Schools.
Here is my profile:
Undergraduate:
Graduated from a Top 60 undergrad in the US
Major: Economics
GPA: 3.4 Major GPA: 3.5
(Mostly A's and B+'s for Accounting, Econ and Stats. Nothing below a B)
Very active in school. Officer in several organizations
Work experience:
3+ years in one of the largest Financial Institutions in the world.
Work at the company HQ on Wall Street
Entered as part of the company's prestigious analyst program. Did one year in Operations then promoted to a Middle Office role, supporting Hedge Funds. Currently Assistant Team Leader, supervising 3 people.
GMAT:
Overall 650 (Q40, V39)
Planning to retake in Early November.
What worries me the most about my profile is my Quantitative score. While my GMAT score is above HKUST's average of 640, GPA is above 3.2 average, and work experience, though less than 5 years, I feel is significant, my Quant score is only in the 52nd percentile while my verbal is close to 90th percentile. If I do apply for Round 1, will the low Quant score hurt me a lot or will my overall score, and background offset that? Any feedback is appreciated.
