Man this is pretty decent score. Just as the above posts say, go with the applications.
And yeah, it would be great if you please let me know how did you prepare for the RC. Also did you face any of the parallel reasoning questions?

Hi Marcab

I never prepared for the RC. I have always found making notes while reading the passage as a best way of approaching RC. On the day of the exam I got very long but easy passages and taking notes was actually a waste of time. I would suggest you to practice from OG.

As far as I remember there was 1 parallel reasoning question.

Hi Yashii
Thanks for the wishes!

I am responding here for others to see, hope you do not mind.

I did not get my IR score. It will come with the official report I suppose.

Study schedule
First month - Solved the full OG 12, Quant and Verbal 2nd edition
Second month - Quants prep from TIME material (CAT - India) and I studied the theory from MGMAT series
Third month - CR from Powerscore ; SC from EGMAT and Aristotle

I was not on sabbatical but tried to find out time during office hours to discuss on this forum all the questions of CR and SC.

Hi Aristocrat

Thanks a lot for the wishes

First of all I would like to cite that there has been a recent change in the way SC question is developed. I suppose the GMAC has started emphasizing more on meaning now. For that OG guide is definitely not enough. I would suggest you to go for an online SC course and study the MGMAT SC book. They are good enough.

For CR, Powerscore bible is a MUST. OG cannot suffice. Let me know more so that I can help accordingly

No. definitely not. The emphasis on meaning NOW is more that it was in the past. There were options which could be rejected because it changed the meaning of the sentence. Grammatical errors were tough to spot (at least for me).

How would you rate Kaplan 800 ? Did you practice tests from other sources than MBA.com.

If you are done with everything else, then go for it. Was not much of help to me. I did not practice from any other tests. It is not required if you are aiming for somewhere around 700.

710 is a good score man, start with ur application process.Which colleges are u targetting?
Can u answer my below queries:
What kind of questions did u encounter during the exam, especially in quant.Which topics u feel one should stress more on in quant?
Do u think the level of difficulty was the same as that of gmatprep exam?
I am finding OG13 newly added quant questions( last 30) quite difficult.Do you feel the difficulty level was thereabout?

Thanks,
Shreeraj

Hi Shreeraj

I am unsure of the colleges right now as I am not sure where I would stand a chance.

Coming to your other question
As far as I remember I encountered questions from probability, coordinate, geometry, number properties, and venn diagram. I cannot say one is more important than another but Number properties, even and odds can trap you some time.
Yes the level was almost same with the GMAT Prep. Last 30 questions are the highest level question and you will encounter those on your route to 750, so if you are getting those questions be happy that you are doing well. I dint get any.

I started my gmat prep last year fell in the trap of coachg institutes.....no concept was developed.I thought of preparing on my own.

Hi Archit

I would suggest you take an expert opinion on this.
My personal opinion is that you have been unable to manage your time.
Do not try too many books and courses. Stick to the one which suits you best such as
Quants – MGMAT series
SC – MGMAT book and one online course (Ex: EGMAT)
CR – Bible Powerscore
RC – Read a lot
There is no hard and fast rule for success neither there is any short cut. Study first and then schedule your exam. I am sure you will do well.
