I have been waitlisted without an interview.

Has anyone got a confirmed interview call today ?

or does anyone know how many people have been waitlisted (without an interview that is)

Thanks!

Sure - 690 GMAT (Q 50, V 34). GPA 3.26 from top 50 university. Worked at a financial firm for 4.5 years. I'll give you one advice - master your essays if you have a 680+ GMAT. That's where you can set yourself apart along with strong recommendations/resume. Best of luck, send me a PM if you want more info.

DesiJackass, keep your head up man! I've gone through the same stuff. You have a very solid GPA and GMAT score. Feel free to send me a PM. I have a very similar background to yours.

690 GMAT
3.33 GPA (3.5 last 2 years)
3.5 years of consulting work experience at matriculation (what I perceived as my weakness)

Looking forward to starting this journey!

Dinged. Again. Was WL in R2 with a 680 last time. Had tons of better things to talk about this time round including GMAT. Self-initiated interview both times. Makes me wonder if I played to round game wrong. Tricky EA?
Ahh well. Life! :)
All the best to the admits, EA WLs, and all R1 applicants!

Question if you know something about WL. does WL means I'm automatically in Round1 now? or something else?
THanks.

Yes you are automatically in with R1 unless you choose to take yourself off the list. You'll receive a status update (in or ding -- I think if you stay on WL, you don't hear anything) when R1 gets results in January, assuming you've interviewed already. If you've yet to interview, you can be invited with R1 on Nov 28.

More details can be found in my really long post a few pages back -- I'll add the link when I'm at a computer.

EDIT: Link to my post about the general waitlist/decision timeline: duke-fuqua-2013-calling-all-applicants-134412-340.html#p1135273
If anyone has specific WL questions, feel free to post or PM me -- I was on the waitlist for a very long time last year... :)

PS. For those of you waitlisted in EA, please don't give up hope yet! I feel like a lot of EA waitlisters were accepted in later rounds ... it's not over until it's over (around early August for those of you counting at home).
