Hi.
I am applying for Haas EWMBA.
I know I don't have to enroll for the prerequisite course to apply, but does it provides any advantage?
There are two requirements:
1- Statistics prerequisite:
Data decision online workshop: Anyone has an idea how much does it cost. Is it wiser to enroll in a classroom program at some other nearby university?
2- Mathematics perquisite:
If your profile speaks of your mathematics skills, do you still need a recent coursework completed? What I get from the website is, based on your profile you might be asked to take this mathematics prerequisite. Is it true?
Thanks to you all.
You can either take a statistics course at a local community college or during one of the statistic workshops after you're admitted. If you're concerned about a low undergrad GPA or lack of quantitative background, completing the class prior to application submission will only help. As for the Mathematics prerequisite, if you score a 47+ in quant. on the GMAT you're covered. Just an FYI, the Berkeley Statistics workshop is considerably more challenging (and applicable for future MBA courses) and expensive than what you would take at a local community college.
