Congrats to everyone who's received an interview! I'm currently on campus for Johnson Women in Business and it has been a great day so far. It might be too late for people who are applying this fall, but for anyone thinking about applying in fall 2013, you should definitely apply for this event - Johnson is making a concerted effort to attract women, you get your application fee waived, there is a travel reimbursement, and you meet some amazing people as part of the event. It is getting more selective - they said 90 women applied this year and 50 were accepted, as compared to the first year where they had 29 people apply and attend.
JWiB attendees also automatically are invited to interview while on campus, so I had an interview this morning with a second-year student. It was along the lines of what I was expecting - "why MBA, why Johnson, strengths/weaknesses, tell me about a time when...". My understanding is that Johnson is looking for good fit and strong interest in the school, so like people have said on other threads, make sure you know why you want to be there, what you would get out of the school, and what you will bring to the community. The questions available online are a good indicator of what they ask. The interview was about 45 minutes long, including some time for questions.
I met the person from admissions who handles North American applications as well, and she indicated that she had looked at my application this morning (apparently unrelated to the interview). There is now a note on my online file noting that an interview had been scheduled, but my status still reads 'submitted' and not 'under review' so I still am not sure what this designation means.
Hope that helps! Everyone on campus has been super, super nice and welcoming and it seems like such a great community.
