Hi, the limit for one of my application essay is 750 words.
Is my essay too short since it is only about 300 words? Would a too short of an essay be penalized? I believe my essay has the question.
Thanks,
Kevin
I really can't answer this question without knowing more about you and seeing the essay. If you don't have more to see, more depth to go into, or more analysis to provide, then 300 words is just right. However, if there is content that could help convince the admissions readers to admit you and you are leaving it out, then your essay would definitely be too short and the absence of that valuable information and insight could weaken your application.
Best,
Linda
