I received my invite last year on Dec. 16 and interviewed mid January. I'll be happy to answer any questions.
Could you please share your interview experience? Was it mostly behavioral questions or "why MBA/ why Sloan?" questions?
Any tricky questions?
Thank you
You can find online some of the questions that Sloan asks just by doing an easy search. Most of the questions are behavioral and I would recommend you glance over them. Just read the questions and think of some stories in your life that would relate but DO NOT prepare answers (That would make your answers seem unnatural and rehearsed). What I found during the interview was that when I was asked one question, the story I picked and formulated ended up answering 3 at once (I guess because I had that list of questions in mind).
For example with a question such as: "Tell me a time when you asked for help" you can talk about a project that you took up but had difficulties completing the task on time and therefore had to ask someone for their help. But you can also answer questions such as "what's your greatest weakness" "something you have done that you are proud of" "how would your coworkers describe you" just by the way you frame your answer.
I am not saying that is the way you should go about your interview but I found that it helped me feel like I have used the interview time effectively to paint as big of a picture of myself as possible.
Just remember, if you got an interview YOU ARE QUALIFIED. What the interview does is see if you can communicate and if you FIT THE CULTURE. So the best way to prepare is come to campus and meet some of the students.
