Re: Stanford GSB 2013 - Calling all Applicants [#permalink]
Presumably all interview invitations have stopped. Does anyone know if this is true or do you know of anyone who has received an invitations in the last few days?

Can I ask those of you who got interviews what your GMAT score was. As looking at some of the scores listed seems most were in the high 700's. Anyone got an interview with a low 700 or high 600 score?

I got a 690 and had an interview. But my 690 was a very even split.. I got an 80 / 80 percentile split

While there may be a few last minute invites going out due to some technological issues that the adcom seemed to have, I'm guessing that 99% of the interview invites have been sent for this round.

When does the adcom call those who are getting admitted? The day before the official notification date?

Thanks!

I did some analysis from previous years' threads. It looks like calls start about 15-17 hours before deadline.

In previous years decisions were released at 9am Stanford Time on D-day, and calls started around 4-5pm Stanford time the night before. Looks like the calls follow the sun, east to west, starting in Asia.

D-day could not come sooner as far as I am concerned!

Can someone please set up a track Santa type app that shows us which time zone should be receiving calls during each hour leading up to 9am Stanford time?

I heard rumors that people get interviews in the days immediately before the decision deadline and then get in, either on the deadline or a couple of days after. Does anyone know if this is true or is it just a rumor.

Thank you

It was maybe 2-3 days, but a friend of mine had something like this happen to him last year.

For those of us that are eagerly awaiting calls from DB on Tuesday:

Any idea when calls would start for the West Coast (Pacific ST)? Is the window 9am Tues-9am Wed or is it 5pm Tues-5pm Wed?

Good luck to everyone!!!

I would say the aim is for all calls to be done on the Tuesday, and then online decisions get released first thing Wednesday morning. So calls to the WC probably get made Tuesday evening.

Going to have to party large if I get in... or drown my sorrows.

I think decisions are posted at 5PM PST on Wednesday:

"We will post decisions to your ApplyYourself account by 5:00 PM Pacific Time on the decision date for the round in which you applied."

There must have smth else in your profile besides the even distribution of gmat scores. As I see there is only a couple of applicants with the gmat score less than 740 who have been invited to Stanford's interview.

They say that, but in the past, decisions get released in the morning. I imagine its to prevent the office being inundated with calls from people trying to check their status...
