Couldn't sleep last night...expecting tonight and tomorrow night to be even less restful. Thinking of coming up with an HBS rain dance in hopes that the admissions gods might look favorably upon me.

I had trouble sleeping before my interview and I think tonight and tomorrow will be even worse. One thing is nice though - you know exactly what time the decision will come. Waiting by the phone on Tuesday would be more than I can handle.

I was logging onto my app last week as well and it never read anything like "this won't change until 12/12." All I saw then and see now is the same -post interview reflection (status submitted), app for admission (status submitted).. Do you guys see otherwise?

Perhaps time to chill and leave it to God. Always a believer in whatever happens happens for good. Que sera sera!

That said, nervous nevertheless!!

I think I logged in over the weekend and still saw the "this won't change until 12/12" statement. Logged in today after seeing everyone's comments here and now it is gone (i.e.: I only see the post-interview status and app for admission status). That's interesting that the "this won't change until 12/12" on your profile was gone as of last week. You know what it must mean... that we are all looking into this way too hard!!!

I just have to remember to breathe and actually get some sleep these next two nights.

Applying to round 2, i visited HBS november 29th. Anyone from round 1 get an interview and did not visit HBS? and did anyone from R1 who did visit HBS get an interview ?

Most of the people i talked to at HBS said they visited before they apply. Even though HBS, states you don't need to come, I really think it was such an important component to talk about the school's unique qualities.

I did not visit HBS before applying and received an interview. I went to the school for my interview.

Totally false. Definitely interview on campus and sit in on a class if you are selected but a visit beforehand is definitely not a factor.

don't know whether it is false but a majority of the people from two case studies all said they visited before interviewing
