Oxford (Said) 2013 - Calling All Applicants

I checked up with the admissions office. They told me that in case one was awarded a scholarship he would have received the mail on Friday itself.
Has anyone got any such mail?

A folder containing :
A letter from MBA Prog Director
A letter from Associate Dean of Degree Prog.
Fee & Payment Terms (includes info on how to pay the deposit) [Main options: Wire/electronic transfer or Credit Card payment on Oxford's website]
Financial Guarantee Form [not sure how to fill it if we do not know the scholarship status ]

Btw other items in the folder include: 4GB USB Drive (empty i.e. w/o data), Oxford map, Oxford city guide and another unofficial guide by Oxford students.

Key action items for us in the letters are:
We should email to confirm we accept the offer.
Also, we should get an invoice in an email in next few days... we will get 30 days to pay the deposit once that email is sent.

Hi all, does anyone know the due date for the Financial Guarantee Form? I'm planning on funding partially through a loan and partially through my own savings, but I don't have everything squared away yet... wondered if anyone else had insight. I'll probably reach out to Said at some point over the next week for more details and I'll share whatever I learn.

I'm not sure, there wasn't a date in any of the documentation in the offer pack. From what I can gather (ie. guess) from all of the information, I think the more important items are emailing to confirm that you accept the offer and paying the deposit when we receive our invoices (next week). It doesn't seem like there's a hard deadline, but I'm guessing you won't advance any further in the registration process until the form is complete.

Can't hurt to ask though. I had a couple questions after reading through everything and asked them along with my acceptance confirmation email, they got back to me within 24 hours

To those who have already received the offer package - can you please let us know what was the mode of shipping - DHL ? Did you get any intimation from the university about the shipping?

It was not DHL. A UK courier service named Crossflight. I got an email from SBS with the tracking information.
When they delivered the package, I was not home. So the next day I called them in the UK and enquired about the status. They gave me the contact number of their local partner in Singapore (my location) and I arranged for a pick up.

Hey please share whatever they tell you regarding this. I am in exactly the same situation and I emailed them asking about it, but no replies yet. waiting for a response today

My offer pack hasn't arrived!!! I very much want to get it so that this all becomes real Oh well, another day of waiting...

^ If you haven't already, you should track the package. There's a signature required so unless there's someone home in the daytime, they can't deliver it. I had to leave a note for DHL to leave the package for me and just got it today.

I'm so jealous! I really have nothing to complain about- I was just accepted into Johnson for their AMBA program and I haven't even submitted my application to Oxford yet, but I still really want to go to SBS. Congrats again! I hope to join you all in the fall!

It is a pretty fantastic acceptance package that they put together. We should be getting our access information for the intranet later this week so we can pay our deposits and start on the Financial Guarantee form. Digging up bank statements, not the most exciting thing in the world, but it will be well worth it!

If we look at the term dates, the total course duration comes to slightly less than one year.. Is it really true because that significantly impacts the dependent visa and post employment visa for non EU students?
