guys anyone else here waitlisted?? would love to hear some strategies besides retaking the gmat or receiving a promotion.

How did you guys check for financial aid?

for those of you who got WL'd, I feel for you, as I was WL'ed at another program. I did some research myself, and here is a list of things for you to read:


1. Interview with adcom of many schools regarding WL

2. read book called "great applications to business school", it has a section on how to deal with WL


to summarize, in general:

1. find out if your school accepts additional updates. if so, send MEANINGFUL updates every once in while. if not, do NOT contact the adcom.
2. if your school accepts additional update, try to send in updates every month or so.
3. acceptable updates are: promotion at work, new responsibilities you have carried on at work or in extra-curricular activities, new transcripts to classes you took, higher GMAT score. etc.
4. timing is important too. try to submit your WL update a month before the possible WL decision change.


The key is to stay active, show that the adcom you really really want to come to this program and you will definitely enroll if accepted. be aware that being on the WL means this process is largely out of your hands. There are limited things you can do, stay optimistic and let fate unfold.

this may sound dumb, but where are you getting your decision? I logged in and all it shows is confirmation of being submitted, nothing on a decision, and no email yet (i checked spam).

does anyone know when is the deadline for deposit for R1 applicants? I have a hard time finding the information. thanks!!

I *think* it will be after the Go Blue Rendezvous that's on April 11-13. Not sure though, I'm looking for the same info.

You are pretty accurate though! It's 16th April. If you click on the "Respond now" button on wolverine access, It shows the payment details and deadline for submission if you choose to accept the offer.

Waitlist with interview. Heartbreaking - I was pretty confident about Ross.

You can see the deadline, payment details and checkbox (to accept/deny the offer) all at once

Sorry, I am still slightly confused by the system - how do we check scholarship details?
