If you want something specific for quant check out Dabral's website GMATquantum absolutely fantastic video explanations. The free stuff include OG 10,11,12,13,QUANT REVIEW, PAPER TESTS etc Though I haven't done his online course, based on the amazing video explanations I'm sure the course should be fantastic ( if you want to try the trial course 10 dollars for 10 days ). Check them out.

I sense danger here. One is a guidebook, while the other is a collection of questions. Guidebooks and the OG are necessary. If one of these resources is neglected, then your test score will reflect such an incomplete preparation.

Your question, then, shouldn't be about whether to use Kaplan or the OG. It's whether to combine the OG with Kaplan, Manhattan, Veritas, Princeton Review, or whatever other guidebooks are available.
