Can you please tell about the questions being asked from recommenders ??
Will a photocopy of attested college transcript be sufficient or a separate one has to be furnished ?

Notarized photocopy of transcripts are required. (or attested by an educational institution)

Guys- I submitted my application today, but can I pay the application fee online (using the DBS ibanking portal or something else)? Or do I need to send a printed application with a draft or cheque to NUS?

Forum seems to have gone cold! Anyone receive any updates on the process? W/l, Ding, Admit? It doesn't seem like the tracker has been updated.

IMO there is no app fee for the MBA program - the payment link is generic for multiple programs which is why it shows up.

Guys,

Want to know about the post-MBA work permit in Singapore. Please comment if you are aware that for how much time we can stay in Singapore post our MBA, if we don't have a job in hand.

You can find out what you can or cannot do on ica website (www(dot)ica(dot)gov(dot)sg) under student pass (Home->Visitors->Student's Pass->Apply for Student's Pass)
Unfortunately, there is not much information in black and white on this topic and a lot depends on your passport.
If you are carrying US/EU/UK/AU/NZ passport, you can stay 90 days every time you enter and then hop across Malaysia and come back to get another 90 days. But if you do it TOO many times, immigration officer can warn you. In any case, Singapore is an expensive place for foreigners to live without a reasonable job for a long time.
If you are from a country which requires visa to enter, in that case you'll get 90 days visa after canceling your student pass. If you still need more time to find a job, you can apply for LTVP.
Based on my experience a few year ago, you can apply for LTVP to stay UTPO one year but actual duration will depend on the mood of the officer on the day of the processing of your application. But you might have to leave Singapore if LTVP is not processed within 90 days of student pass cancellation.

I have a question as to entering my referee information on the online application.

I know that I need to provide recommendations from two referees, but when I went to the online application, it allowed entering only one referee info under "Referee" section instead of two.

Anybody can explain how I can provide the second referee information in the online application?

Thank you for you answer in advance.

Hey eybrj2

On the right side of the table where you see the name, email address, telephone and university/institute details of your 1st Referee you entered, there are 4 other options - Email, Add, Update and Delete. You need to click the "Add" button. This will take to a form where you can enter the details of your 2nd Referee. Hope this helps. If not, let me know and I will try to do a better job of explaining.

I am not sure whether to go for the video for essay 2 or not. Can anybody throw more light on the advantages/disadvantages of one medium over the other............any thoughts opinions are welcome.

I do understand that a video gives you an opportunity to express more, not only though words but also through the background and the speech. It also allows you to be a little creative. However I believe the messaging is clearer in a written essay. Also, if it is not too much of an advantage, then why spend extra effort.............

Hey Guys

I have submitted my application

Does anyone have any idea about
A) Admission Fee :- I am guessing not needed but want to confirm
B) Documents required to be mailed - Are there any required right now or after admissions like others?

Strange, This information is not highlighted on the site

Re: NUS 2013 - Calling All Applicants! [#permalink]
I believe you you meant Application Fee instead of Admission Fee
The information is clearly mentioned on NUS MBA website. Did you really look at the site?

1) Have a look at page "Application Procedure"

Online Application Form
Only online applications will be accepted. There is no application fee.

2) Information about whether you need to mail supporting documents or upload is also mentioned on the same link

Supporting Documents
Please note that you will need to upload the following supporting documents as part of your online application. After submission of your completed application (with all your documents uploaded), please allow 6-8 weeks for verification of documents before checking your admission status.

In the online application, applicants are able to upload their supporting documents in their account. Account size limit: 2MB. There is no limit to the number of files you may upload.

Transcripts / Marksheets and Degree Certificate
For the online application, you can upload scanned copies of your attested transcript/ marksheet/ degree certificate via the portal for our preliminary review of your application.

However, the official transcripts and attested copy of degree scroll for your application will be required after you are offered a place in the NUS MBA or its double degree programmes. The official transcripts must be sent to NUS Business School directly by the organisers/ university.

What is a valid certified/attested copy of a document?
A document will be considered as a valid copy if it has been stamped by a recognised authority. A recognised authority must be either an educational institution (e.g. your current/previous university) or a legal representative (e.g. a lawyer or public notary). The documents must have original stamps from the chosen authority and not be photocopies.

What is a valid translated copy of a document?
A document will be considered as a valid translation if it has an original stamp from an official translation company and be attached to the original document.

Ya I meant the application fee.

I went through the site and read the same details that you have posted.
However in the FAQs , they have mentioned

How do I apply? What documents are required?

You can apply online at mba.nus.edu. Application starts from 01 October 2012 onwards.

The following required documents needs to be sent in ONE package:

Resume
An original or attested copy of your degree scroll
An original or attested copy of your transcripts
Official GMAT score
TOEFL/IELTS score (required if the medium of instruction for your undergraduate degree is not in English)

Hence my query :P

Also the application fee was zero but after I submitted the application a link popped up to pay the admission fees by bank draft. Hence wanted to confirm it too, I got the gist from previous threads and replies that it is a generic application but no one could confirm that they got admitted/ interviewed in R1 without paying a fee have they? :D

In my experience, it's always better to ask the school/admission committee for clarification.
You only need to mail these documents once you've gotten the acceptance. It seems a number of schools are following this policy i.e. ask for "paper" documents once either you are admitted or invited for interview.

Good luck for your admission hunt...it seems you're applying to a number of schools...a classic mistake that I've observed a number of Indians make.
Focus on 4 to 5 schools; 2 safety and 2-3 your dream schools.

I have contacted the school also. Waiting for their reply.

Ya but its difficult to exactly select the safety schools and dream schools for MBA IMHO.

MS is ok I think as your academic scores and scientific profile are key but in interviews , essays it becomes tough to categorize B-schools.

Anyway I am kinda of a freelancer now so got loads of time to give each school its due attention :-D
