Hi Guyz

I just got an interview invite!! However my application status has not changed yet? I am really worried whether my official scores have reached yet. Does the interview invite mean my application is complete? I haven't got any mails from them regarding completion. :oops: What is the general opinion on this ?

My sister lives in New York and I can possible plan to visit on-campus. Is the financial strain of visiting on-campus worth it or will a remote interview (Skype/Telephone) work just fine for admit chances. What do the community suggest?

Also lastly, I have dates available for more than a month. I wish to postpone the interview later so I get sufficent time to prepare. Will this impact my chances or is it first come first serve in interviews and scholarships. I know this is a question for the Ad-Com :wink: . But no harm in asking for personal experiences :?:

Are you an R2 (jan) applicant? Any R2 applicants hear back yet? I am yet to even get an email saying my application is complete and under review.

Yes you should definitely use te time to prepare. You already have good vital stats which is one reason why u have been invites. Work on the all te "why" questions and u will rock it. All the best!

I applied R2, and just today received an email that my application is complete and under review. So I am sure they are on their way! Good luck everyone :)

I'm hoping for an interview soon, this is definitely my top choice after speaking to the admissions reps at events and learning about the program.

Hi,
I received an email with subject Tepper School of Business: MBA Interview Invitation on January 11, 2013. Just few minutes back I received an email saying my application is complete and under review. I don't understand. Was the email that I received on January 11 for an admissions interview or an informational interview? Should I write to somebody from the school to find out?

when did you submit your application? I submitted mine on 1/3 but I still haven't received anything yet.

I believe that means your GMAT is acceptable for them.

Got an interview invitation. Scheduled it on Feb, will fly there all the way from China. But~~ no idea how to prepare it~~ Could anyone share where i could get more information about Tepper? Is there any chance i could connect to their students? Many many thanks~~

I am currently appliy for Tepper (CMU). I encountered a section where it asks me for employment record. Do i write up teh employment record myself or do I need to get the firm to issue an employment of record. But I don't think if the firm issue one, it has responsibility, reason for leaving...

I submitted my application on 3rd January just like you did. I thought I wouldnt be hearing from the admissions committee for a month. Strangely I received a reply on 11th January itself from Carol Basciotta. I then received a mail regarding my application status on 14th January. I have scheduled a skype interview on 25th January. Any tips??

I got an "application complete and under review" email today. My online status says the same thing.

No interview invite yet though :-(

I just got a phone call from admissions inviting me to a "Tepper Talks" event in my hometown. (Note: Pittsburgh's area code is 412). I've already submitted my Round 2 app. Should I attach any significance to this invitation (like at least they've decided not to reject me yet)?

Absolutely! N I would suppose its a great way to show them u are serious abt tepper too. I attended a webinar organized by them a week back since I can't travel to Pittsburgh from singapore.
