Calling All Consortium 2013 Applicants

Submitted 1/5 and just got word from McCombs that my app was received. They also noted that they are still receiving apps for everyone stressing out from the radio silence.

Congrats on the interview invite! Do you mind telling us where you ranked Stern? I heard they were sensitive about that.

Has anyone heard from Ross Rd. 2?

Hi all -- new to the boards, but figured I'd join since I've found this discussion very helpful ... appreciate everyone's insights

My Consortium Experience to Date :

After submitting my Consortium application in early December, my apps were released earlier this month (I believe it was 01/14). Definitely was a ball of nerves up to this point.

Later that week, I received application acknowledgement notices from Stern and Tepper (the only two so far -- still waiting to hear from 2 others), then got interview invites from both schools within 3 business days.

I did have Stern and Tepper ranked 1 and 2, so I am wondering if that was a factor...

Some additional background: I did quite a bit of research and outreach (chats with current/former students, campus visits, school events, etc.) for both of these schools in particular prior to submitting my application.

Yes, got a confirmation that they'd received it on Jan 18. Nothing else.

I finally got notification from Texas that they have received my application, but I haven't heard anything from Ross, Tuck, Haas, or Tepper.

I'm so nervous waiting to hear back from these schools. How are you guys keeping your mind from thinking about it?

The consortium submitted my application to Stern yesterday and I got a invite to interview at Stern today. Super pumped!

I got my interview invite last night. I submitted in the Consortium's Round 1.

My rankings were as follows.
1. Tuck
2. Haas
3. Stern

It seems that Stern wasn't sensitive to ranking in my case, but it could be because I have some family issues that would compel me to accept an offer from NYU even if I get accepted to both Tuck and Haas. I'm also a native New Yorker, but I'm not sure if they care about that.

Yes, I definitely will! Keep me updated too. I recently got confirmation from Haas that they are reviewing my application, but still no word from Ross or Tepper

I applied Round 1 and got an admit to Tepper...I JUST got an interview invite to Ross yesterday. Haas and McCombs are still keeping me waiting....THE WAIT IS SO PAINFUL

To Ross applicants... be sure to keep a look out for messages in your spam folder. Oddly, I've never had an important email go to that folder, except now, in the midst of the biggest waiting game of my life, my invitation to interview at Ross got tucked away as spam yesterday. The invite came from rossinterview@umich.edu so you might want to add that to your "safe" list asap.
