andyandy, when is the R2 mid-decision date? I'll update the front page with that date.

I'm probably checking the application page 9-10 times a day, if the adcom tracks the accesses to the system they'll probably think I'm crazy...LOL

What are other people doing in the interim? Other than writing down the mid-decision dates, I've quit the process cold-turkey, deleting browser links, packing away the GMAT books, etc.

Making some changes at work, working on my first book, and losing some weight = my goals until late March.

I much prefer Chicago's method. Chicago = 1 day of stress for interview/ding; Wharton = 25 days of stress when they might email you before they ding anyone.

Hoping work and golf will take my mind off it until the 13th :)

I also have the mid-decision date for round 3 as April 24th, in case you want to make an update.

Wanted to get out a post before all the craziness from Rd 2 invites/acceptances start:

If I am planning to live in the downtown/south-loop area, what is the best time to visit apartment buildings and sign leases?

dwinters, are you coming to admit weekend? There is a housing tour planned for the second day.

Retake GMAT after being admitted in hopes of scholarship? This might be ridiculous, does anyone know anything about this? I got in round 1, and now I'm starting to take a hard look at those $50,000 tuition payments (makes each time I held off on the guac at chipotle a little less meaningful). I'd say the weakest part of my app was my GMAT (720 with sub-70 percentile quant and very high verbal). Would bringing up this score make me a viable scholarship candidate or is this foolish? Thanks guys!

foolish. i'm pretty sure it wouldnt help and very sure you could use your time more effectively. 1st - have you called the admissions office to raise your concerns? Especially if you have a scholarship from another school. 2nd - spend your time applying to scholarships - financial aid office can probably help plus there are a bunch online. The admitted student website has info about this. I think that would be a much more productive use of your time :)
