Received an acceptance notice yesterday as well! I was really suprised to hear back so quickly as I just had my interview on Jan 17th.

Has anyone who has been accepted recieved the official packet yet? The acceptance letter didn't have any information on timelines or when we should be looking out for it.

Congrats! Yes it seems they send the admits pretty quickly after interviews, roughly 4-5 days. Not bad! I got my official packet in the mail (with pretty much the same info as on the website) I think 3 days after the email notice. I suppose it could be slower if you live outside of NYC.

My interview experience was very good. The adcom member was very friendly and the interview was really a 30 minute conversation. If you truly believe in your career goals and that Stern is the best place to achieve those goals, I think the interview will take care of itself.

I received my interview invitation for Diversity Day last night. I'm looking forward to it.

I'll be moving to a different project at work in February, and I'm hoping I end up in the NYC area to make this trip easier.

Hey Krest19 -- first and foremost, congrats!

I'm also interviewing then -- I talked with a few former and current students who attended in the past, and they highly recommended leveraging this day rather than scheduling an earlier interview date. I understand that there is ample opportunity to connect with students, alumni and admissions officers, but haven't heard much about the formal structure of the day.

Regarding acceptance rate after interviews -- on the NYU website, it says anywhere from 20-25% of applicants are interviewed. Using last year's admission rate of 16% as a baseline, that would mean that your chances of getting in after receiving an interview invite fall between 60- 80%.

I also received a invite to Stern Perspectives but the idea of waiting another month is killing me. I'm thinking about scheduling the interview in a few weeks so I can receive a decision.

My girlfriend and I got our interview invites yesterday, we have submitted our applications for Round 1 on Nov 15.

We are located in Israel, still haven't decided yet whether to be interviewed in NY or in London.

Did anyone chose to interview during the Stern Women in Spot Light week where they will also have the Women in Business conference on Friday 2/8?
I responded back in December as soon as received the invite, but haven't heard from them since regarding a detailed schedule/agenda.

I signed up for an interview + Mock class option. Anyone going there on Feb. 7&8 too?
I am based in California and will fly in redeye on Feb. 7.

Keep your head up; it's not over until it's over!

Stern says their result date means you'll get some sort of a response by then -- that means invites can still go out, and last I saw, spots were open until the end of February. Based on the number of people receiving invites here, I'd say they still have about 2 weeks of spots still open.

It's certainly a long wait, but if you get the result you want, it'll be worth it. Good luck!

In my case, it took 9 days to hear the decision after the interview. So I know how you feel! Wish you luck!

As I understood you shouldn't. You will receive an email confirmation once status changes.

Unfortunately, no. I'm still waiting as well. Hope we both receive good news soon!

I heard yesterday morning around 11AM and interviewed last Wednesday, 1/23. Accepted!

Applied: 11/22
Received notification: 12/3
Invited to Interview: 1/15
Interviewed: 1/23
Accepted: 1/30
