Wharton 2013 - Calling All Applicants

Do we have any idea of approximately how many of the interview spots are filled up? Is it too early to give up hope?

Got an interview invite last night!

Can any candidates from R1 offer any tips for the group discussion?

Can any one provide update on the indian slots!! I guess I am gonna stare at the dreaded letter!!

does anyone know how these apps are processed?

How worried should be if we haven't heard anything yet? I know it's earlier, but these posts are scaring me esp after not getting anything from HBS :-/

A topic was given in the email that was sent. Unfortunately, we are told not to disclose what it is.

Wow that was quick. I signed up just 2 days ago and every spot was still open.

How is Wharton's middle 50% range 660-760? so it means 25% or ~200 kids have 660 or lower? that's strange for a Top3 school. Any thoughts?

Can anyone else confirm that?

Maybe these spots were just for this wave. There will be new spots for next wave. I'm not sure, just guess... finger cross for next week

Can someone give an update on % of slots filled up in Mumbai and New Delhi ?

I'm assuming that's a reasonable representative of % of invites gone out.

Well, for the on-campus interview dates there are about 30 total groups/interview dates shown and only 4 that have not filled up completely. However, as I was probably one of the first to signup for my interview (all dates were available when I logged in 3 days ago), I do not recall there being so many interview dates. My guess is that the Wharton AdComs have added new slots after the first few started to fill up. This leads me to believe that its very possible more invites will go out and more slots will be created.

Did Wharton give a window in which they will send interview invites? If it's a 3-4 week invite window and only one week has passed, it is way too early to think that all of the invites have gone out. Wharton invites people throughout the invite window, not just in the first few days. Sit tight and best of luck.

Yes, the window for this round is Jan 29 - Feb 27, so today is day 5 of 30.

I'll be surprised if more than 25% of the invites have gone out. I think the bulk of the invites will go out in the next 2 weeks, so there's plenty of time for those anxiously awaiting for invites. Best of luck to everyone.
