Yes I have not heard back either. International applicant from Toronto in R2.

I am also international applicant. Passed interviews in ALL schools, but still nothing from Cornell. More than 2 months from the deadline. Looks quite strange.

My Cornell Johnson interviewer not only had a background at the Entrepreneurship and Innovation institute, but also season tickets a local minor sports franchise. She asked:

(1) Talk me through your career progression.
(2) Tell me more about your two start-up businesses.
(3) Tell me a time you had you a great idea, but nobody else agreed.
(4) Tell me about a teamwork example.
(5) Where else are you applying?
(6) What is your most prominent leadership role?
(7) What do your two years look at? What immersion? What student groups?
(8) What’s a time you did something uncharacteristic you?
(9) Have you been to Cornell before?

Even with a quantitative GMAT score of 49, I found converting Ithaca’s local Eastern Time into a time in my own local area time zone the most challenging aspect of the interview. No joke...

Nice to see they really sculpted the interview around your background. I am curious though, since you are applying to so many schools, and have been accepted already, how did you answer the question about which other schools?

Most importantly, that up until my very first day at Emory Law, I had pursued the Cornell Law wait list wanting so badly to have an Ithaca future.

Congrats!

I applied R2 and interviewed 15 Jan. So did R1 invites went past the R2 invites?
More importantly, as I interviewed earlier than burgundy, can I too get my decision now?

My friend (Indian) had applied in R2, she also got the interview last night. I believe these are the final invites that they send out.

It seems quiet probable since their MBA blog mentions that interview for 3 round would start coming by 11th Feb. (which is only a week away)

Where did you read about the interview invites coming by 11th Feb? I thought it was towards the end of Feb. maybe I am wrong. Their decision notification date is 3rd April.

Excerpt from the Cornell Admission MBA blog:

We are still reading and interviewing round 2 applications and doing the same for our Consortium applicants that are on a rolling basis for admissions decisions. We roll the decisions for Consortium since we are on a very tight deadline with The Consortium organization to get decisions out by a specific deadline. We expect to fully focus on round 3 after February 25th and readers will continue to stay on course with round 2 and then round 3 applications. Interview invitations will start going out by February 11th for round 3 and will continue up until the notification date of April 3rd. Our goal is to get through and notify admits as quickly as possible so that they can plan to attend our admitted student weekend, Destination Johnson April 12-14th!

Hey are you still going to intvw with Cornell? Given that you already have made up your mind on Tuck?

I am just trying to push potential competition off the table so that I can get my WL converted!

Hey - i will def interview as Cornell is the only school i applied to for a dual degree. I will only attend if i get a scholarship however - how much schol is debatable. This is of course assuming they even like me enough to admit me :)

Regarding WL does Cornell mve its WL at the end of each round? Honestly, even if i get selected id probably knock off someone else, if at all, from the current round than you. I think the WL Comes into play when they have seen enough applicants to offer you a place, which is not necessarily at the end of each round. BUt then I could be wrong.

By the time R2 decisions come in, they would have seen most of the R3 applications to make a judgement of student quality. So I think they should move some at that time. With Cornell its different & its even more different this time with many WLs w/o intvw. Don't know how are they going to manage it but I know some WLs from R1 moving in around R2 decision historically. I think that's the norm with most of the schools. WL in any round expect to see some movement arounf next round decision time.

FYI I was in round 1 and received my interview invite the day before decision day. Johnson states that invites will be extended up until decision day, and they mean it.

What is wrong with them. I guess the Adcom should take a few Operations classes.

IDK, the wait was brutal. I prefer the way Duke did it, (all interview invites go out the same day at the same time). Good luck, feel free to complain vent here, I know I did.
