Just got an interview via email. Looks like the on-campus slots are restricted to before Feb. 20th, which is not a whole lot of notice...I may call the admissions office to ask if they plan to open additional ones.

Let us know if you do end up speaking with the admissions office.

After my initial panic, I came across this line in the message when you log in: "The team-based discussion will be held on-campus Thursday, February 14, 2013 through Wednesday, February 20"

It sounds like those are the dates, definitively, for on-campus interviews.

Keep trying, restart, try on another computer, etc. My chrome worked after a few tries.

Hi Guys!

Congratulation to everyone who got an invite!

I am one of the fortunate ones too!

The invitation email asks us to login onto a hobsons page using our application credentials. But when I try to login, Hobsons throws an error that something wrong has happened and they will get back to me!

Anyone else facing this problem?

I am edgy as coz of the previous msgs saying the slots are filling up fast!

:-)

Just got the invite as well. Indian based in Singapore. I faced the same problem a while back with Mozilla but it worked fine after i switched to Chrome. The slots are filling up really fast. Hurry up!

I have tried using chrome, internet explorer and firefox.. even opera on my cellphone.. got the same error everywhere!!

I hope that this is inaccurate for two reasons -

1) The invites are slated to go out until the 22nd.
2) The Round 2 Information email stated the following: "If you are invited for an interview, you will need to complete your interview by Friday, March 15th."

Hopefully that message is specific to this batch?

Got through at last!!

Had to do almost all of the above! Their official response is that 'the servers are overloaded'!

I agree with most ppl above - slots are filling up fast!

The off-site interview dates extend to March 8th. Perhaps they will schedule one-offs between March 8th and 15th for people with extenuating circumstances? I wish there were more options as well, I am bending over backwards trying to rearrange travel just to make it on the 20th.

Me too, an hour ago. I just signed in again and went through. Don't worry, there still are slots available starting on Feb 19, of which I filled one :)

Looks like if you're a domestic applicant without an invite, it's pretty much game over.

Based on what I've read, this is not necessarily true.

Last on-campus interview slot is 2/20, which is not that much time. My guess is the last domestic invites will go out on Friday or next monday at the latest. But the biggest wave of domestic invites was today.

I do not believe that is correct. If the above post is correct, there are only 6 days total available for interviews on campus?

Ugh. I told myself I wouldn't start stressing until next week, but now starting to feel the anxiety. Just to clarify (and hold on to hope), it does sound like more interview slots opened up for this wave? Perhaps they reserve a few new days for each weekly wave? :(

Yeah they definitely saved a few dates to be opened as they released invites. When the first wave went out there were 102 team based discussion sets now there are over 140, so dont give up!!! its not over until the 22nd.

They will post more dates, they just aren't disclosing when yet.

I disagree on it requiring preparation. You'll build off each other's ideas, just come up with a decent answer for each prompt. It was very obvious who prepared a speech in my group and it came off as a canned response.

Preparing for the TBD doesn't mean having a canned response; it means examining one's self for knowledge and anecdotes that can be used to back up one's own position or add to someone else's ideas. If you don't prepare at all and have no value to add to the discussion, your interview won't go well.

Adcom opens up new slots each time a wave of interview invites goes out so that the early dates are filled by the first wave, the next dates by the second wave, etc. I was in the first wave R1 and I only had 3 dates to choose from, all very early. More opened up later for the later waves.
