Enjoy Evanston! On another note, has anyone requested and received feedback? The auto-reply email said that feedback would be available in February, but now I'm getting the vibe that it won't happen until January decisions are released (after March 15).

I requested feedback and got a personal email from an Admissions Officer who told me that she made note of my request and would be contacted in early March to schedule a call.

Congrats on making your decision!

I just got into Kellogg, and will be visiting next week. How did you decide Kellogg was the right school for you?

I have decided to decline my spot at Tuck and will be attending Sloan instead. That said, Tuck truly is a special program and I have nothing but amazing things to say about it. Good luck, everyone!

P.S. For the record, CobraKai already called dibs on my spot!

Guess I'll transfer my attention to this thread now... Waitlisted today from January Round. Read the posts in this thread, so my guess is that we'll be pretty much in the dark until June...
Does anyone have any data (don't need specific numbers, just an idea) of how slim are our chances of actually getting in from the WL? Almost nobody gets in? Few people? Significant movement?
Another question, how should we proceed if we need financial aid? Do we only send the application after being admitted, or even on the waitlist we still have to apply for it? I know that's probably a stupid question, but I really don't know how these things work.
This WL news today totally crushed the good mood I was in for yesterday's acceptance to Ross (with some $). Tuck was absolutely my #1 choice.

Well good luck for all of us over the next few months, and a lot of patience!

Best,

bizwiz

The decent news is that the April Round deadline is April 2, meaning over the next two weeks, the WL applications are the only things the adcoms will have in their office (I don't think they start reading apps on a rolling basis), so hopefully the feedback comes out in that timeframe.

As for how many people get off the WL, no one knows, but I'm optimistic given how few acceptances I saw today and the number of WL decisions handed out - April 26 is when Tuck will have deposits in hand from the first 3 rounds...hopefully they'll utilize the WL as a way to avoid over-admitting.

Keep in mind that this is all just my speculation - absolutely nothing credible about it.

I just got waitlisted today as well. CobraKai we applied to pretty much the same schools! Minus Kellogg for me. Did you reach out and receive feedback from Tuck yet?

Great minds think alike :)

I got WL in the EA round, so when I replied to accept my spot on the WL, the auto reply said feedback would be available in February. I sent an update shortly after the new year, and the WL manager said she'd add my name to the callback list. February passed, and I sent another update a week ago and got another auto reply. I re-read it and the last part was changed: it said written feedback would be available in late March. I guess I prefer written feedback so I can refer to it, vice feverishly taking notes while on the phone.

Anyway, I'd imagine the adcom is understaffed and busy - I don't want to annoy them with phone calls asking for feedback. In the meantime, I've been reviewing my application and addressing things I think were weak and updating the adcom. My hope is that they'll see I'm being proactive and hopefully I'm reading their minds and getting ahead of their feedback.

I was told by some current Tuckie friends of mine that applications are up this year. I don't know by how much though.

Joining the club, guys. Will calling the AO hurt? Also, shall I mention that I was admitted by the other programs but Tuck is still my first choice? Will that be helpful to my candidacy?
